A Run Training Program Like No Other

Here’s What You Can Expect Inside

DAY 1!

Once you are registered, sit down with Coach Kari in a one-on-one conversation to talk about your goals and aspirations, and how you can make the most of your time in The Team of Better Running.

YOUR MONTHLY TRAINING PLAN

On your one-on-one call, together, you and Kari will decide on the right track to get you where you want to go in the most effective direction – either through the semi-custom training track or the fully customized running plan. Either way, you will receive monthly running training programs written for you by Coach Kari based on your own goals, schedule and other important things that you and Kari will discuss in your one-on-one call.

THE ZOOM CALL

These calls happen every other week for the connection, accountability, answers to questions…and some guaranteed laughs. These calls happen on Sunday evenings at 7:00pm EST. As a member of the Team , all calls are recorded and always available in the event you can’t attend.

WE ARE ALWAYS LEARNING

For the weeks in between the Team Zoom calls, Kari drops short video lessons into the Facebook group so that you are always learning something about running.

THE PRIVATE TEAM OF BETTER RUNNING FACEBOOK GROUP

Gives you continued team support and energy. It’s MOJO MAGIC – the women in there “just get it” – the love of running, the perpetual pursuit of making it great, and balancing it all with life.

NEED SOME SUPPORT?

If life dropped a little bomb in your world and it’s effecting your running schedule, you can always reach out and get the answers you need to get back on track fast.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS

In addition to fitness trackers that you might be using (Garmin, Apple watch, or similar), you will be given tools to track daily and weekly progress in the other very important elements that influence your running. For accountability and occasional feedback, you will share these with your coach every week. As time goes by, you end up creating a full picture of your running progress and begin to see how different elements influence your running.

The Details

For the past 2 years, The Team of Better Running has run on a rolling 12 week period. While women still crushed their running goals, and the program was incredibly effective, it just didn’t allow women to custom-tailor their experience to their specific needs or race timeline as Kari would have liked.

New in 2022, it is now possible to join The Team of Better Running at ANY time, and on month-to-month billing. You’ll get started the same day you join, and the team call happens every Sunday.

Now, you and Coach Kari have more flexibility in meeting your longer-term goals and plans. Stay for as many months as you like, and manage your own membership through our billing portal. After your first three months, stay involved month-to-month, stay for the summer, hop in for a 2 month refresher, or hang with the gang for the entire year! (Yes, some women do!)

Every Women Runner Track

This program is best for beginner runners and some intermediate runners who are looking to understand how to improve their running without a highly detailed and more structured plan.

If you can relate to any of the sentences below, the Every Women Runner Track might be for you:

~ I want to have a plan, written by a professional coach so I don’t have to figure this out myself.
~ I realize that I need a little bit more of a detailed plan than what I can find for free, but I don’t really want to feel super pressured in my running.
~ I want to learn more about how to be a better runner so that I can consider a bigger goal in the future.
~ I want the support of my coach to get feedback and answers to my questions.

Full Custom Track

Full custom programs are exactly that – detailed and dialed inexactly to your fitness level, your timeline, your goals, your current level of running, etc. These are often used for a bigger goal that requires us to have a more detailed plan. We use more data in these kinds of plans. If you are a woman that loves data and detail and you want to know exactly how you need to run to get better faster using a more precise approach, you will eat this up. **This approach doesn’t have to be for the “super serious runner” or for the next giant goal – it can be applied to ANY runner and any goal – even if you’re not training for a specific race.

If you can relate to any of the sentences below, the Full Custom Track might be for you:

~ I want to get FASTER, but I don’t know how to do it without getting injured.
~ I have a big goal for myself and I want to train really well to crush it.
~ I want a detailed plan to improve my running performance.
~ I want to PR my next (Half Marathon, Marathon, 10k, 5k, etc.).
~ I want to dial my training in tight and get moving – show me exactly what to do and how to do it.
~ I’ve got good running experience behind me and it’s time to level up!
